Amparo Cecilia “Aci” Bermudez, lovingly referred to by her friends as Miss Pink, because of her love for everything pink, is a 27-year-old Filipina singer. One day while trying to run away from a mob of spirits she came across the dock of the Barge. She thought that it was a regular cruise ship, not knowing that it was the barge of the dead. While on the cruise ship, she saw a poster for an audition for a new singer. She succeeded in landing the job, but when it was discovered that she was alive it was already too late as she signed a contract with the barge binding her to it. There she meets the handsome yet stoic captain of the barge Raymond Azrael, the only other human on board the barge. He is a cynical person, that immediately dislikes Aci as he finds her dumb and stupid after signing a contract with the underworld. Aci started to win him over with her voice, cheerfulness, humor, and kindness. This later resulted in a love that blossomed between the two.
