Lizzie hasn't seen or heard from her sister since. When Lizzie herself turned 18, her village found out about her work and interest on portals and time travel and turned her over to the local authorities. The authorities banished her into a portal to wander the space time continuum where Lizzie was eventually discovered and taken in by the CEO of her current job at the organization. She is the most musical out of her friend group; Lizzie sings and writes her own songs on her guitar. Lizzie is a lesbian and has a craftswoman girlfriend, Elene, who lives in ancient Byzantium. Edward "Wardsey" - A lively, chatty young man of 23 who's entire aesthetic is centered around the 1920's. He is Lizzie and Bitha's roommate with him taking one of two of the apartment's bedrooms. Growing up in a children's home, Wardsey has always been curious about his biological parents. He is an intern at the city's forensics lab. Wardsey is unaware of Lizzie being a time-traveler, as a matter of fact he thinks that time travel isn't real. He is a demisexual gay man. Tabitha "Bitha" - A sheltered formerly homeschooled young woman of 23 who's moved to the city to escape and hide from her super Christian, overbearing, proud, and strict mother. Though she seems shy and reserved, she's most free and upbeat when she's around her best friends. She works as a dishwasher at a nearby restaurant. She has a secret crush on Adrian. Despite being the least musical out of her friend group, Bitha can always be heard poorly belting out songs from the hit musical "Plutosville", which she is obsessed with. Bitha is unaware of Lizzie being a time-traveler, as a matter of fact she thinks that time travel isn't real. Mrs. Faye - A regular stout, down to earth, woman of 61 who Lizzie and Bitha confide in. She charms people with her clever, sassy wit and kind attitude. She dresses very nice. Mrs. Faye was killed by her incompetent, uncaring, ungrateful husband, but she was given a second chance at life by God Himself. She was reincarnated into the same timeline as Lizzie, Wardsey, Bitha, and Adrian and serves as a sort of maternal/grandmother figure to them. She suspects that Lizzie is hiding something, but doesn't know what it is exactly. Adrian - A young British man of 26. Although he comes across as snobby, vain, confident, and sarcastic to others who don't know him very well, he is secretly insecure and hates himself. He doesn't like to talk about his tragic past to people he doesn't know very well. Adrian has old, dear friends that live nearby. He enjoys drinking red wine, reading older literature, and chilling with his cat. He is an asexual bisexual with a preference for men.
