It was always a tense atmosphere in Year 8, but nothing stirred the pot like the rivalry between Bradley's crew and the infamous duo, Lola and Scarlett. The Hell Fire Club had it out for Bradley and his friends, and today was shaping up to be chaotic. The group hung out in their secret lair, fondly known as “the den,” where they plotted their next adventure. Ruby, Bradley’s girlfriend, held a clipboard full of ideas. The girls hid behind some bushes, eager to gather intel. But then he saw the girls’ worried faces, and the urgency hit him. “Okay!” He turned to Amy. “Let’s do something fun!” Before they could start dancing around, Lola and Scarlett stormed in, ready to cause chaos. “Time for a little fun!” Scarlett yelled, launching herself at Bradley. Layla jumped into action, scrambling to draw Amy away. “Look, Amy! Over there! Isn’t that a duck?” Amy turned, but it was too late; Bradley was already grappling with Lola. The room filled with commotion. Just as everything seemed to reach a breaking point, Olivia yelled, “Bradley, look out!” But it was too late. Lola landed a powerful blow, sending Bradley to the ground. Olivia, heart racing, burst through the chaos to reach him. “No! Not my bestie!” she screamed, but it was a moment too late. As she dove forward, Lola pushed her to the side. Olivia crashed hard against the wall and collapsed, lifeless. The room fell silent. Everyone's eyes shifted to Bradley, who couldn’t believe what had just happened. “No!” he shouted, rushing to his fallen friend. The den wasn’t about rumbles, but now it felt like it was shrouded in madness. “You will pay for this!” Bradley yelled at Lola, rage bubbling inside him. But just then, Mr. Matt, the head teacher, barged into the den, drawn by the noise. His face was stern. “What in the world is going on here?” he barked. Fear washed over the team; they knew they were in trouble. “I’m shutting this down!” he exclaimed. The gang’s laughter and adventures were at risk of ending for good. With a heavy heart, Bradley faced Mr. Matt. “Sir, lock us up and throw away the key,” he pleaded. This wasn’t how he imagined his year ending. As the group faced the abrupt consequence, they realized that sometimes rivalries don’t just create chaos; they can tear teams apart too.
